Manejo del mieloma múltiple triple refractario


El mieloma múltiple (MM) es una neoplasia que se caracteriza por la proliferación clonal de células plasmáticas atípicas en la médula ósea y, en la mayoría de los casos, por la secreción de una inmunoglobulina monoclonal detectable en plasma y/u orina. En las últimas décadas se ha ampliado de forma muy importante el arsenal terapéutico frente al MM y, actualmente, se identifican tres clases de fármacos que, junto con los corticoides, forman parte de los esquemas de tratamiento habituales de esta hemopatía:

1) Inhibidores del proteosoma (IP): bortezomib, carfilzomib, ixazomib;

2) Agentes inmunomoduladores (IMIDs): talidomida, lenalidomida, pomalidomida;

3) Anticuerpos monoclonales (AcMo): daratumumab, isatuximab, elotuzumab.
